Mooresville (IN)- WR/JVOC/ Recruiting Coordinator (2026-current) Mooresville (IN)- DB/Passing Coordinator (2022-2024) Ben Davis (IN) Freshman DB/Freshman Defensive Coordinator/Varsity Assistant DB (2015-2021) Coach Avery is in his 14th year of coaching football. He also has over a decade of experience in coaching at the youth levels. He graduated out of Ben Davis in 2005 where he was a 3 sport athlete in football, basketball, and track. He was a high jumper (6'5 PR) on the 2002 State Runner Up team as a freshman. He is a 2x state champion as a player at Ben Davis High 2001 & 2002 playing QB WR. He finished his career as a FS. He also won state at Ben Davis as a coach in 2017 on the #7 team in the Nation. He played semi pro ball from 2008- 2017 playing QB and WR and won 2 National titles in 2008 and 2017 with the Indianapolis Tornados .He's the owner of Dawg Sports Performace where he trains athletes from elementary to college level in speed and strength conditioning. He is the owner of My Lawncare & Landscaping. He is the VP of his wife's daycare The Clubhouse Early Learning Academy. Avery is the husband to his wife Chrissy they've been together for 24 years and loves his kids Avery (20) Elijah (17), and Trinity (13).
