Leland Kinnett

Bio

I am entering my 12th year of coaching with a passion for developing young men both on and off the field.

My faith is the foundation of everything I do, guiding how I lead, serve, and invest in the lives of my players. Off the field, I am a proud husband to my wife, Cayleigh, and a father to our two kids, Wyatt (10) and Willow (7), who are my biggest motivation and support system. These two, by far, are my greatest accomplishment.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to coach at Center Grove, Indian Creek, Decatur Central, and now in my second stop at Mooresville. I’ve been blessed to be part of championship-level programs, including a 6A State Championship and State Runner-Up finish at Center Grove, as well as a 5A State Championship as Special Teams Coordinator at Decatur Central.

My coaching philosophy is rooted in building tough, disciplined, and accountable teams that play with relentless effort and a team-first mindset.
